US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the White House on Monday to discuss efforts to end the war in Gaza. The US has proposed a 20-point peace plan, agreed by Israel.

The plan includes a “board of peace” to oversee its implementation, headed by Trump. Trump says Netanyahu will have full US backing to “do what he has to do” if Hamas does not agree to the plan.
