Gabriel Martinelli’s early strike and a late Bukayo Saka goal secured Arsenal a 2-0 win over Olympiacos, keeping their perfect Champions League start intact.
Martinelli tapped home in the 12th minute after Viktor Gyökeres’ effort was pushed onto the post by goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis. Despite Olympiacos threatening through Daniel Podence and Francisco Chiquinho, Arsenal held firm.
Saka sealed the victory in stoppage time with a shot that squeezed through Tzolakis’ legs, giving Mikel Arteta’s side back-to-back group-stage wins.
