Commonwealth Bank has suffered yet another frustrating outage with thousands of customers unable to access their online banking.

The outage, which is impacting ATM machines and online banking, was reported by over 7,000 people around midday on Thursday.

CBA shared an update on its website, telling customers that ‘some of our services are currently unavailable, and we’re urgently working to fix this’.

‘CommBank banking services, including payments, online access and ATMs are being restored, a spokespersons said just before 1pm.

‘We apologise for any inconvenience and thank customers for their patience.’

Aussies took to social media to vent about the outage, which is the second in just under two weeks.

‘LOL not Commbank down AGAIN!! Wtf is wrong with these guys. Thank god for opening multiple accounts elsewhere. Your money in banks is NOT safe and it’s not yours lol. CASH IS KING or put it into crypto. Unreal,’ one person wrote on X.

‘Get your s*** together.’

‘Here we go again, another outage. Not good enough CommBank,’ another said.

‘Hey @CommBank what’s happening with internet banking. Every time I try to authenticate on the app I get this been happening for over a hour,’ a third wrote.

‘Down again? Can’t access my app to pay for my lunch,’ a fourth said.

The outage appears to be impacting customers in Victoria and in Sydney.

Some said their joint accounts shared with partners were showing different balances.

It comes just days after millions of Aussies were left in the lurch after planned maintenance by the Commonwealth Bank was delayed on September 19.

Dozens of angry customers shared their frustration after they were unable to access their online banking on Saturday morning.

‘I just lost my slot for my specialist appointment and may have to wait 6 to 8 months for another appointment,’ one furious customer wrote on X.

‘Literally trying to pay all last night and this morning, can’t even transfer the funds to pay it. This is unacceptable,’ another said.

‘Seriously ridiculous. Do your maintenance at night. My cards won’t work and it’s a Saturday morning,’ a third commented.

More to come.
