The final team for South Africa’s final two group matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifications has been revealed by Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos.

South Africa’s last two group matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be against Rwanda at the Mbombela Stadium in Mbombela on Tuesday, October 14, and against Zimbabwe at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Friday, October 10.

Eight players from the Broos’ squad for the September qualifiers have been added to the 23-man roster.

Sydney Mobbie, Zuko Mdunyelwa, Ime Okon, Siyabonga Ngezana, Luke Le Roux, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Patrick Maswanganyi, and Mduduzi Shabalala.

After making an impression at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) and establishing himself as a consistent starter for Mamelodi Sundowns, Malibongwe Khoza is called up for the first time to the senior national squad.

The new team includes Khuliso Mudau, Thapelo Morena, Tshepang Moremi, Sphephelo Sithole, Nkosinathi Sibisi, and Thabang Matuludi.
