Bromfield responded in Jamaican patwa, acknowledging the princess treatment she gets and anyone in her shoes would do the same.

“Yup, did a run fi buy mi a house but he bought us one. Wanted to travel the world and the flight was paid, wanted to start a business and he is investing. You wa run for me?”

The fan’s question comes from speculations this season suggesting Bromfield had quit her track career to focus on raising a family with Lyles. She stepped back from competing after the Paris Olympic Games and engagement to Lyles, being only supportive of her partner and not minding the backlash from her fellow countrymen due to the intense rivalry between the two nations.
