Drew Barrymore is standing 10 toes down on the assertion that her feet don’t smell.
The Drew Barrymore Show host, 50, was joined by co-hosts Sunny Anderson and Ross Mathews during her Tuesday, Oct. 7 episode as the trio decided to “check a box of cleanliness” and discuss foot care.
During the segment, and before Anderson brought up a report about foot care experts “begging people to prioritize washing their feet,” she told Barrymore that her feet smelled “divine” after smelling them last year.

Naturally, Barrymore wanted to confirm again.
“Drew does not have stinky feet. She’s like a smell-good girl,” Matthews, 46, said, as Barrymore lifted her foot from under the desk and gave it a sniff herself. Moments later, Anderson, 50, decided to “double check” and leaned her head over. Matthews then got up from his seat and did the same.
“It smells like a whole lot of nothing,” Anderson said, before Barrymore reiterated: “There’s no scent there whatsoever. And believe me, I have other issues. Nobody escapes issues.”

After the sniff test, Anderson let the audience weigh in on how often they wash their feet following talk of an apparent 2019 Self magazine report. Apparently, 87% of Barrymore viewers in the crowd said they wash their feet daily, while 10% said they wash their feet every week, 1% said they wash them once a month and another 2% said they never wash them.
Barrymore then asked her audience to take accountability and raise their hands if they never wash their feet, before a woman named Annie defended her choice.
“I have a shower and the few times I tried to put soap on my feet, I almost died and slipped and fell,” the host joked in response.
This isn’t the first time Barrymore made a foot-related revelation. In 2019, during a taping of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actress shared her talent of “picking up stuff with my feet,” calling her foot “an extra hand.” Colbert threw some cough drops on the ground, and both removed their footwear as they attempted to pick them up.
“Especially when you have kids,” Barrymore said of her skill. “You know, you’ve got a kid in one hand and a phone in the other, there’s no way you’re not gonna go and grab that Ricola [with your foot].”
“They’re just when I need an extra hand,” she added.
