Police sources revealed that 4 suspects — Shamsudeen, Hassan, Alkamu, and Sirajo — had been first arrested shortly after the incident and confessed to their roles. Shamsudeen admitted to capturing the safety guard, whereas Sirajo mentioned he tried to carry Maduagwu as she fell from the third flooring.
Shamsudeen additionally confessed to driving away the victims’ white Honda CR-V after the assault, with the suspects allegedly sharing ₦200,000 every from the proceeds.
