A shocking video circulating on social media has captured the moment a pastor and members of his congregation tore and set copies of the Holy Bible on fire, claiming the book was “unholy” and had deceived them for years.

In the viral footage, the pastor is seen addressing his followers during what appeared to be a church service, declaring that they had been misled by what he described as “a book of falsehood and manipulation.” Moments later, the congregation joined him in tearing the Bibles before setting them ablaze.

As of the time of filing this report, the identity of the pastor and the location of the incident remain unclear, though several social media users claim it took place in Nigeria.
