While the team must win both to even stand a chance, Ndidi insisted on a focused, one-game-at-a-time approach, starting with their first opponent.

“First of all, we focus on the Lesotho one and then we look towards the Benin one, but the most important now is the Lesotho one.”

Eric Chelle’s men wil reach 17 points, should they win both games comfortably , and will then rely on South Africa and Benin dropping points to stand a good chance of qualifying.
