Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere is confident the team will have a good outing at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, DAILY POST reports.
The Nigerian girls arrived in Casablanca for the final phase of their preparations for the biennial competition on Wednesday.
Olowookere’s side won all 10 of their friendlies in Abuja, scoring 44 goals without conceding.
The gaffer is upbeat they will carry the form to the competition proper.
“This group has shown great attitude and unity,” Olowookere told thenff.com.
“They understand what it means to represent Nigeria, and I believe they can achieve something special in Morocco.”
The Flamingos are drawn in Group D with France, Canada, and Samoa.
They will open their campaign against Canada on Sunday, 19 October.
