British rapper Dave has officially confirmed a collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeats star Tems on his highly anticipated third studio album, The Boy Who Played The Harp, set to drop this Friday, October 24, 2025.

The news of the partnership first caught fans’ attention through a billboard campaign in London, fueling speculation and excitement online. The collaboration had been hinted at previously, with Tems sharing in an interview with media personality Craig Mitch that she and Dave had been in the studio together. “Definitely Dave. Tems & Dave would be mad. Dave is the realest,” she said, before confirming their ongoing studio sessions.

The pairing brings together two of the most influential voices in contemporary music. Dave, known for his poetic lyricism and critically acclaimed albums, including his 2021 release We’re All Alone In This Together, has won the Mercury Prize and established himself as one of the UK’s most prominent rap artists. Tems, who has gained global recognition with her distinctive voice and collaborations with Drake and Beyoncé, adds a powerful Afrobeats and soul-infused presence to the project.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the album, which promises to showcase this cross-continental fusion as one of its standout moments. With the confirmed release date of October 24, anticipation continues to build around the full tracklist and the potential surprises the album holds.

The Boy Who Played The Harp marks Dave’s return to the full-length album format, and the Tems feature is expected to be among the album’s most talked-about highlights.
