Serbian tennis star, Novak Djokovic has announced that he will not participate in the upcoming 2025 Paris Masters.
The 24-time major winner made this known via his official X handle without providing a reason.
“Dear Paris, Unfortunately I’ll not compete at this year’s Rolex Paris Masters,” Djokovic wrote on X.
“I have amazing memories and great success over the years, especially being able to conquer the title 7 times. Hope to see you next year. Merci.”

The Paris Masters, which will be headlined by World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz and No. 2 Sinner, will run from October 27 to November 2, followed by the season-ending ATP Finals, scheduled for November 9-16 in Turin, Italy.
In 2024, Djokovic withdrew from the Paris Masters, where he won a record seven titles when it was held in Bercy, before opting out of the year-end championships.
The 38-year-old last week competed in the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a lucrative exhibition tournament featuring six men’s players.
After receiving a bye in the opening round, he lost to eventual champion Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals and couldn’t complete his third-place play-off against Taylor Fritz, retiring after the first set.
