  • A Nigerian lady, @miss_sarahkayy, shared her frustration after mistakenly recharging another person’s electricity meter with ₦300,000. She said IKEDC told her the money couldn’t be refunded or reallocated since the token had already been generated. Expressing disappointment over the system’s rigidity, she lamented that the token would go to waste unless she gave it to the wrong meter owner. Her video sparked sympathy and debate online, with many urging IKEDC to assist her.

A Nigerian lady, identified as @miss_sarahkayy, has gone viral after revealing that she mistakenly recharged another person’s electricity meter with ₦300,000.

The entrepreneur and braider took to TikTok to express her frustration, saying, “I just mistakenly recharge someone else’s meter with ₦300k and IKEDC said they can’t refund or re-allocate.”

She explained that she immediately contacted the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC), but was told there was nothing they could do since the token had already been generated for the wrong meter.

Lamenting the situation, she added, “The funniest thing is, the token will waste if I don’t give it out to the owner of the wrong meter number. Why is the system so rigid?”

Her post drew sympathy and shock from many Nigerians online, with some tagging IKEDC to help and others advising her to always double-check meter numbers before making payments.

In other news…. Rakeem, the first child of Priscilla and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux, has officially turned two months old.

The couple recently returned to Nigeria and received a warm and celebratory welcome, especially from actress Iyabo Ojo, who is proudly embracing her role as a grandmother.

Shortly after their arrival, Rakeem reached his two-month milestone, and Priscilla marked the occasion with a heartfelt post on his Instagram page.

The post included adorable photos taken in honor of the day, melting the hearts of many fans who couldn’t stop admiring the little one.

In one of the pictures, Rakeem was dressed in his favorite shade of brown — the same color theme used in his nursery back in Tanzania. A matching white and brown cake sat beside him, although his face remained hidden just as his parents have chosen from birth.

In the caption, Priscilla lovingly referred to him as her “sweet pumpkin boy” and shared how much he has grown and changed within eight short weeks. She revealed that he now smiles, lifts his head confidently when it’s feeding time, and kicks his tiny legs with excitement as though he’s ready to run.

She also expressed how much he enjoys his milk and cuddles, adding that he is growing beautifully each day. The delighted mother concluded by affirming the deep love she and her husband feel for their baby boy.
