Four suspected vandals and burglars who specialised in burgling houses have been apprehended by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, Kano State Command.
Ibrahim Abdullahi, the command’s spokesman in a statement confirmed the arrest of the suspects, saying that the suspects were apprehended in three different local government areas.
He said the arrests were made at the Dambatta, Fagge and Tarauni areas of Kano, adding that the suspects have so far confessed to committing the offences, having been caught with the stolen items.
The exhibits recovered from the suspects include nine mobile phones, one bicycle, three standing fans, three solar panels, and one flat-screen television.

Others are two bundles of wire, two burglary windows, three MP3 speakers, one small solar panel, one power bank, and three motor vehicle tyres.
The spokesman explained that the arrest of the suspected criminals is part of continued efforts to forestall the nefarious activities of vandals and other criminal elements in Kano State, assuring that the cases have been thoroughly investigated and the suspects will soon be charged in court.
