Blue Ivy Carter is all grown up!
In a photo shared to her mom Beyoncé’s Instagram account on Monday, Oct. 27, the 13-year-old daughter of the “Crazy in Love” singer and her husband Jay-Z could be seen smiling alongside her grandma, Tina Knowles.
Blue Ivy wore a pink shiny dress, pairing the gown with a diamond choker necklace and a pink feathery shawl. She gave a soft smile — and bore a strong resemblance to her musician mom — as she snapped the photo alongside her grandmother, which was taken at the 27th Annual Angel Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
“Congrats Mom on your philanthropy award at the Angel Ball tonight ❤️,” the caption on Beyoncé’s Instagram read.
Knowles also shared the selfie on her Instagram, writing, “With my Beautiful Blue at the Angel Ball tonight❤️❤️❤️.”

Earlier this week, Knowles appeared on the Sherri show and praised her granddaughter Blue Ivy for dancing for 70,000 people per night on tour with Beyoncé.
“Because you have to be taught that. Kids don’t learn it from just accident. You have to say to them, ‘It’s more important to be a good person.’ And that you got to work for what you get,” said Knowles. “Nobody’s going to just hand it to you because you are somebody’s daughter or because they like you. You have to work hard.”
Before performing during the Cowboy Carter tour, Blue Ivy also joined Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, and has become a staple in the Grammy winner’s stage productions. She even performed with her mom as a dancer for her NFL Christmas Day halftime show.
Blue Ivy also lent her vocals to 2019’s “Brown Skin Girl” and has voiced characters in movies such as Mufasa: The Lion King.
Although Blue Ivy has only recently started performing in public, her grandma Knowles has shared that she’s always had an interest in dance. In August, the matriarch shared an adorable throwback video on her Instagram of her granddaughter dancing at her younger siblings Sir and Rumi’s baby shower. In the video, a 5-year-old Blue could be seen wearing a pink long-sleeve shirt and dancing around.
“Just came across this on IG so cute my Blue Blue breaking it down,” Knowles wrote in her caption. “This was at the twins, baby shower and blue was only five.. the steps were telling a story of the song❤️❤️so Cute!!!”
