American actor Floyd Roger Myers Jr., best known for playing the younger version of Will Smith in the hit ’90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, has passed away at the age of 42.

According to reports, Myers died on Wednesday, October 29, at his home in Maryland after suffering a heart attack. His mother, Renee Trice, confirmed his death, revealing that the actor had previously battled heart-related health issues and experienced three earlier heart attacks in the past three years.

Myers was just a child when he appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, portraying young Will in flashback scenes that gave fans a glimpse into the character’s early life. He also appeared as a young Marlon Jackson in the television miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream.

Although his time in Hollywood was brief, Myers remained active in his community. He co-founded The Fellaship Men’s Group, a nonprofit that “addresses the often-overlooked emotional and mental health challenges that men face,” according to its official website.

Family members have described him as a “devoted father, loving brother, and loyal friend.” He is survived by his four children: Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox.

Following his passing, friends and fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late actor, remembering him for his warmth, optimism, and lasting impact on those around him.

The Fellaship Men’s Group paid tribute to him in a heartfelt post on Instagram, writing: “RIP to our good brother @rocwonder, one of our co-founders. Gone but never will be forgotten. The mission will continue in your honor. Next men’s meeting will be one for the books like we talked about! Love you bro, rest easy, big bro will take it from here.”

The emotional message reflected the deep bond Myers shared with his peers and the positive influence he had on those around him.
