Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has directed the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) to immediately resolve technical issues plaguing the recruitment portal, following widespread complaints from applicants.
Thousands of Nigerians seeking employment in paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior had expressed frustration on social media, citing difficulties in checking their application status. The portal’s issues included failed logins, incorrect job categories, and missing applicant names.
Dr. Tunji-Ojo attributed the problems to delays in uploading applicant data and instructed CDCFIB Secretary to expedite the process. “I have directed the Secretary of the CDCFIB to ensure all uploads are completed immediately,” he stated.
The CDCFIB had announced that candidates could check their recruitment status, but technical glitches hindered the process. The Minister assured applicants that the technical team is working to restore full functionality.
