A viral TikTok video has got Nigerians talking again after a man, @mcleonard0, called out the sister of late Ochanya Elizabeth Ogbanje, accusing her of being the “enemy of progress” in the fight for justice case.
In the emotional clip, he expressed anger that since Ochanya’s tragic death in 2018, her sister has “done nothing” to push the case forward.
He praised activist Obidi, who has reportedly fought tirelessly for justice, even losing her TikTok account with over 300k followers in the process while claiming the victim’s own family stayed silent.

“Ochanya’s sister, if they sent you, tell them you didn’t see us. It’s clear you’re the one the devil wants to use against this case… Since 2018, you’ve done nothing.”

The video quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions online. Some users agreed with him, saying her silence is “suspicious,” while others felt he went too far by publicly dragging a grieving sister.
The debate has once again added to the painful memories of Ochanya’s case, reminding Nigerians of the young girl whose death after years of alleged abuse still stands as a painful symbol of the country’s long fight for justice.
