Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is bringing his global 5ive Tour to Kigali, Rwanda, sparking excitement among East African fans eager to witness one of Africa’s biggest performers live on stage.
The show is set for Thursday, December 5, 2025, at the iconic BK Arena, a 10,000-capacity venue known as the largest indoor arena in East Africa. The announcement, made on Monday, November 3, has already sent Rwandan social media buzzing with anticipation.
The Kigali stop marks part of Davido’s international celebration of his fifth studio album, 5IVE, which dropped in April 2025. The project has received widespread acclaim for fusing Afrobeats with elements of R&B, Reggaeton, and Dancehall, showcasing Davido’s versatility and global appeal.
This won’t be Davido’s first time performing in Kigali. Over the years, he has built a strong connection with the city through standout performances, including appearances at the Giants of Africa event and the Trace Awards and Festival in 2023.
Organizers, led by Intore Entertainment with sponsorship from SKOL Malt, described securing a 5ive Tour stop as a major milestone for Rwanda’s entertainment industry. With the tour limited to a few African cities, the Kigali concert is expected to be one of the biggest musical events of the year in East Africa.
Fans can look forward to an electrifying show filled with hits from 5IVE alongside Davido’s timeless anthems like Fall, Unavailable, and Feel. As the countdown begins, excitement is already building for what promises to be an unforgettable night with the “OBO” himself.
