Cristiano Ronaldo said that he is prepared for life after football, having made preparations for over a decade. Still, he admitted that he will miss playing actively and will cry when it ends.

The 40-year-old billionaire is well into the twilight of his career. While he recently signed a new deal with Al Nassr (expires summer 2027), it is expected to be his last as a footballer.
As the date inches closer, Ronaldo discussed his preparedness and how he will embrace being a family man when he hangs up his boots.
What Ronaldo said
Ronaldo had an interview with Piers Morgan recently, in which they broached many personal topics, including the former Real Madrid man’s retirement.
Morgan asked Ronaldo if he could imagine retiring, and he answered, “yes,” before following it up by saying he expects it to happen soon.
“I think I will be prepared,” he continued. “Will be tough, of course, will be difficult, yes. Probably I will cry, yes. Yeah, normal. And I’m easy guy to cry.
“I’m not keep my feelings. I’m honest, I’m an open person, and it will be very, very difficult, yes. But peace, I prepared my future since 25, 26, 27 years old. I prepared my future. So I think I will be capable.”
Asked if his preparation included avenues where he would get similar sensations as he did while playing football, Ronaldo admitted that the feeling cannot be recreated. Instead, he looks forward to being a family man.
“Nothing will be compared the adrenaline that we have for football to score a goal,” he continued. But as I say, everything at the beginning, everything at the end. So I think I will be prepared, I think.
“But I have another, other passions. I’m gonna have more time for me. I’m gonna have more time for my family to raise my kids, especially the Bella that they have 3 years old that I start to feel when I travel and stay so many days in the hotel with the team.
“I want to follow Cristiano Junior because he’s in the moment of the age that it’s got a little bit stupid; they do stupid things. Because I did the same.
“I want to. Matteo that I love football as well. I want to be more family person, more present.”
