Operatives of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps, LNSC, Olorunda Command, arrested two suspected motorcycle (okada) thieves at Isanmo, Ilogbo area of Lagos State.
It was gathered that the arrest was made at about 6:13 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025.
The suspects, who had pretended to be regular passengers, were intercepted by the alert patrol team after attempting to dispossess a commercial motorcyclist of his bike.
Their suspicious conduct reportedly drew the attention of the officers, who swiftly moved in to foil the robbery and effect the arrest.
Following preliminary questioning, the suspects were transferred to the Nigeria Police, Morogbo Division, for further investigation and possible prosecution.
Reacting to the development, the General Manager of the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency, LNSA, Prince (Dr) Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, commended the quick intervention of the Olorunda Command officers.
