Emir Of Kano Sanusi's Daughter Set To Wed

The Emir of Kano, HRH Khalifa Muhammad Sanusi II, has revealed that his daughter, Aisha Lamido Sanusi, will soon be married.

According to the wedding invitation card, the ceremony is scheduled to hold on Friday, December 12, 2025.

Naija News reports that Aisha, who finished with a First Class degree from the University of Swansea in the United Kingdom in 2023, will marry Flying Officer Dr. Sayyed Ahmed Usman.

The event will take place at the Emir’s Palace in Kofar Kudu.

Family members, including Fulani Siddika, shared the wedding invitation on Thursday as preparations continue for the ceremony.

This comes few days after Lieutenant A.M. Yerima, the Nigerian Navy officer who became popular after his encounter with FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has married his heartthrob in Kaduna.

Naija News reports that the wedding video began circulating online this week, showing Yerima seated beside his bride during a traditional ceremony at her family home.

An elderly woman, believed to be a relative of the bride, sat between the couple in the usual northern setting.

Yerima gained nationwide attention when a clip of him engaging the FCT Minister over a land matter in Abuja went viral.

Many who watched the video felt he handled the situation with courage and control.
