Actor David Nnaji and his wife, Mandy, have welcomed their second child, just months after the arrival of their baby boy in February.

The acfor shared the good news on social media today December 15.

In his post, he promised to ensure Mandy rests in the next two years after going through labour twice in a year.

Popular content creator Emmanuel Obruste, widely known as Gehgeh, has stirred concern online after sharing unsettling details from a private discussion he allegedly had with comedian Peller about his relationship with Jarvis.

In a video that has since gone viral, Gehgeh recounted how the topic came up during a recent hangout. He said he asked Peller how he would react if Jarvis ever chose to walk away from the relationship. According to Gehgeh, Peller initially brushed off the question, insisting it wouldn’t happen.

However, when Gehgeh pushed further and asked what he would do if it eventually did, he claimed Peller made a deeply alarming remark suggesting he wouldn’t be able to cope if that situation arose. Gehgeh said the response left him stunned and at a loss for words, adding that he refrained from giving advice because Peller’s emotions appeared extremely intense.

The disclosure surfaced shortly after news broke that Peller was involved in a car accident along the Lekki Expressway while driving his newly acquired Benz.

Reacting to the situation, Gehgeh appealed to Jarvis’s family members to step in, stressing the need for her safety as public concern around the relationship continues to grow.

Femi Adebayo’s suspense-filled thriller Seven Doors emerged as one of the biggest winners at the 2025 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, taking home four major prizes and cementing its reputation as one of the year’s most technically impressive Nollywood productions.

The 17th edition of the BON Awards was held at the National Theatre in Surulere, Lagos, drawing filmmakers, actors, and key industry figures together to celebrate the most outstanding works of the past year. Hosted by media personality VJ Adams alongside content creator Kiekie, the ceremony blended star power with a strong celebration of creativity and craftsmanship.

Seven Doors, which stars Chioma Akpota, Adebayo Salami, Muyiwa Ademola, and Gabriel Afolayan, is known for its dark, tension-driven storyline and striking visual style. The film dominated the technical categories, winning Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, Best Series, and Best Cinematography. Its success on the night reflected widespread praise for its world-building, visual ambition, and polished execution, marking it as a standout genre project in contemporary Nollywood. Rob Reiner spoke about his thoughts for the future in one of his final conversations, his friend Eric Idle has revealed.

The bodies of the director and his wife, the photographer Michele Singer Reiner, were found at their Los Angeles home with stab wounds overnight.

Writing on X, Monty Python star Idle wrote: “Rob Reiner was a lovely man. I spoke to him last night for over an hour. I always enjoyed his company. I met him at his Dad’s in 1975.

“He was telling me about filming at Stonehenge and his thoughts for the future. This is so awful. I shall miss him. A clever, talented and very thoughtful man. So awful.”

Beyond Hollywood, the couple were known for their politics, with both being vocal supporters of the Democratic Party.

Former US president Barack Obama was among those paying tribute, writing on X: “Michelle and I are heartbroken by the tragic passing of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife, Michele.

“Rob’s achievements in film and television gave us some of our most cherished stories on screen.

“But beneath all of the stories he produced was a deep belief in the goodness of people – and a lifelong commitment to putting that belief into action.

“Together, he and his wife lived lives defined by purpose. They will be remembered for the values they championed and the countless people they inspired.

“We send our deepest condolences to all who loved them.”

Reiner, son of the comic actor Carl Reiner, rose to prominence on the small screen, winning two Primetime Emmy Awards for his depiction of Mike “Meathead” Stivic in the CBS sitcom All In The Family.

But he was perhaps best known for his work as a director, including the iconic 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap, and films like The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, and A Few Good Men.

Reiner’s friend Josh Gad, known as the voice of Olaf in Disney’s Frozen franchise, called him “one of the greatest directors of our time”.

He wrote on Facebook: “He was a friend. He was simply a beautiful person. Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle were two of the most kind and caring souls you could ever imagine.

“He cared so much for those who had no voices. This loss is devastating. I cannot express how much this hurts. Love you Rob and Michelle. Thank you for all you gave us.”

Actor James Woods, a staunch Donald Trump supporter, spoke of his “love and respect” for his contemporary.

He wrote: “Rob and I remained good friends ever since we made Ghosts Of Mississippi. The studio didn’t think I was old enough to do the part, but Rob fought for me.

“Political differences never stood in the way of our love and respect for each other. I am devastated by this terrible event.”

Ben Stiller said Reiner was “one of my favourite directors” and called his death a “huge loss”.

He wrote: “He made some of the most formative movies for my generation.

“He came out from behind a huge comedic shadow of the great Carl Reiner and being a tv actor to being a great director who made an incredible run of movies.

“Spinal Tap is one of the best comedies ever made – and the list goes on. He was a kind caring person who was really really funny.”

“I didn’t know him well but was always a fan and I feel a real sadness for those who did, and his family.”

Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh has spoken openly about her spiritual deliverance from prolonged anger issues, smoking, alcohol addiction, and m@sturbation.

Tonto made this known while sharing her deliverance testimony during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church, led by the church’s founder, Pastor Jerry Eze.

Speaking before the congregation, the movie star said she began smoking at the age of 13 and struggled for years with alcohol and m@sturbation, attributing her transformation to divine intervention.

She described her appearance at the altar as both a testimony and a thanksgiving, noting that she almost withdrew because of concerns about her public image.

She said, “I smoked since I was 13. God healed me from m@sturbation, too. I have known myself to have sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child.

“I struggled with demonic anger, an anger that destroyed my life. Everybody had to feel it. But praying with NSPPD, God took all of those away and gave me peace.

“The devil tried to tell me that I was supposed to protect my image. But I told myself, what image? The God that gave me the image is the same God that can take it away.” 

Speaking about her freedom from m@sturbation, Tonto explained that after attending the Ghana Prayer Conference, she noticed a change in what she described as years of spiritual oppression.

She said, “I realised that the weak man who held me captive all my years in my dream ran away.” 

According to Tonto, she had never experienced peace until recently, stressing, “I am 40 years old, and I can tell you I have never known peace until now. I am living in it.”

Tonto Dikeh added that her smoking habit lasted for about 27 years, which she said began after exposure at home, urging parents to keep harmful habits away from their children.

She said, “I started smoking because my dad was a smoker. Something as little as that habit can inhabit the lives of your children. My body does not ask for it. My body is repelling it. Today, it is broken.”

Sir Cliff Richard says he has been treated for prostate cancer for the past year.

The 85-year-old singer said his cancer had “gone at the moment” and backed calls for a national screening test for men.

In an interview with Good Morning Britain, he said: “I was about to embark on a tour… I was going to Australia and New Zealand, and the promoter said ‘well we need your insurance, so you’ll need to be checked up for something’.

“They found I had a prostate with cancer, but the good fortune was, it was not very old. And the other thing is that it had not metastasized. It hadn’t moved into bones or anything like that.

“And the cancer’s gone at the moment, I don’t know whether it’s going to come back. I mean you can’t tell with those sort of things, but we need to absolutely, I’m convinced, get there, get tested, get checked.

“I think we as men… we’ve got to be seen as human beings who may die of this thing.”

Sir Cliff made the revelation in conversation with former Sky News presenter, Dermot Murnaghan, who has himself been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer.

Mr Murnaghan asked the singer whether he backed calls for a national prostate cancer screening programme, given that the disease is “the most prevalent cancer amongst men”.

Lending his support, Sir Cliff replied: “We have governments to look after our country and those who live in that country. We all deserve to have the same ability to have a test and then start the treatments really early.

“It’s only been one year now I’ve been in touch with cancer, but in point of fact, every time I’ve talked with anybody, this has come up, and so I think our government must listen to us.”

It comes after King Charles revealed he had reached a “milestone” in his own fight with cancer, and would be able to reduce his schedule of treatment in the new year.

His message on Friday was broadcast at 8pm in support of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint campaign by Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.

He credited the “personal blessing” to early diagnosis when he announced the news on Friday.

He said: “Early diagnosis quite simply saves lives.

“Now, I have heard this message repeatedly during my visits to cancer centres across the country. I know too what a difference it has made in my own case, enabling me to continue leading a full and active life, even while undergoing treatment.

“Today, I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to ‘doctors’ orders’, my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the new year.”

He continued: “This milestone is both a personal blessing and a testimony to the remarkable advances that have been made in cancer care in recent years; testimony that I hope may give encouragement to the 50% of us who will be diagnosed with the illness at some point in our lives.”

Buckingham Palace has not revealed what kind of cancer the king has, though it is confirmed not to be prostate cancer.

Mr Murnaghan asked Sir Cliff whether his own charitable efforts could be co-ordinated with the king’s on the issue of early screening.

The pop icon replied: “I’m sure! I mean, why not? I’ve been involved with many charities over the years, and if the king is happy to front it for us, I’m sure loads of people… I certainly would join him, I’m sure you would.

“If the king is listening, then I’m sure most of us would say, yeah, we’re available.”

Last month the UK National Screening Committee decided not to recommend mass screening for prostate cancer, saying the measure was “likely to cause more harm than good”.

Instead, it proposes a targeted screening programme every two years for men with specific genetic mutations, known as BRCA-1 and BRCA-2, between the ages of 45 and 61.

Homicide detectives are investigating after two people were found dead at a Los Angeles home owned by US director and actor Rob Reiner.

A 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were found dead inside the property, a Los Angeles Fire Department official said.

Detectives from the LAPD Robbery Homicide Division have been assigned to the case, the LAPD said in a statement.

LAPD Captain Mike Bland said they were investigating an “apparent homicide”.

Reports said there was a large police presence at the house.
