Faze Is Not Involved In My Beef With Blackface – 2Baba Opens Up (Video)

Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has disclosed his former bandmate Faze’s stance in the long-standing feud between him and their other ex-bandmate, Blackface.

Recall that Blackface and 2Face have been involved in an on-and-off feud over the years, with the former repeatedly accusing the latter of intellectual property theft, allegations 2Face has consistently denied.

Addressing fans midway through his performance at the Made in Benue Festival in Makurdi recently, 2Face said Faze has maintained a neutral stance in the dispute between him and Blackface.

He stressed that the rift does not involve Faze in any way.

“You all know that Plantashun Boiz consisted of Blackface, 2Face and Faze. But due to some unforeseen circumstances, Blackface is not with us right now.

“However, no matter the beef wey me and Blackface get, nothing concern Faze inside. So, Faze is right here with me and we will represent Plantashun Boiz,” he said.

“No matter the quarrel between me and Blackface, nothing concern Faze inside…” – 2baba speaking to fans at a show in Benue State.pic.twitter.com/7PfIXblcgc

— YabaLeftOnline (@yabaleftonline) December 29, 2025

The rift between Blackface and 2Face began after Plantashun Boiz disbanded in the 2000s.

Following their split, Blackface blamed 2Face for the breakup and accused him of song theft.

The relationship between the duo has remained strained over the years despite several attempts at reconciliation, with peace efforts often short-lived.

“Those Backing Terrorists Are Now In Hiding”- Bishop Oyedepo Hails US Airstrikes

  • Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), supports US military action against terrorist camps in Nigeria.
  • The US military launched 12 Tomahawk missiles targeting terrorist positions in Sokoto State on Christmas night.
  • The operation was conducted in coordination with the Nigerian government under President Donald Trump.

Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, widely known as Winners Chapel, has welcomed the United States (US) military action against terrorist camps in Nigeria.

According to reports, the US military launched at least 12 Tomahawk missiles on Christmas night, targeting terrorist positions in Sokoto State. The operation, conducted in coordination with the Nigerian government under President Donald Trump, has raised hopes for a significant reduction in the country’s long-standing security challenges.

Reacting to the airstrikes on Sunday, Oyedepo expressed gratitude to God, noting that sponsors of terrorism in Nigeria are now in hiding. He added that for the first time in nearly two decades, perpetrators of violence are facing pressure.

He said, “We must thank God for this sudden turnaround in Nigeria. For nearly 20 years, the persecutors have acted freely, but now they are feeling the heat.

“The Holy Spirit led a midnight prayer that has brought about this outcome. Those who caused grief to others will now face consequences.

“Judgment has begun. God has intervened in Nigeria’s affairs. All those backing these criminals are now hiding, and fire is burning in their camps. For the first time, the oppressors are becoming the oppressed.”

Diddy reportedly set to release docuseries featuring his sons

Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly gearing up to release his own docuseries, just as controversy continues to swirl around a separate documentary already drawing major attention online.

Zeus Network recently unveiled a trailer for the upcoming series, which is expected to premiere in 2026. The announcement comes in the wake of Netflix’s explosive four-part documentary, Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which premiered on December 2, 2025, and has since sparked intense debate.

The Netflix series, produced in part by longtime rival 50 Cent, dives deep into decades of allegations surrounding Diddy, including claims of sexual misconduct, abuse, and other criminal behavior. The project has drawn heavy scrutiny not just for its subject matter, but for how it was made.

According to representatives for Diddy, the documentary allegedly includes private recordings and personal materials that were never approved for public release. His legal team claims the footage features hotel-room videos, internal legal conversations, and years of archived content that Diddy had reportedly been saving for a personal, authorized project.

They argue that Netflix knowingly used what they describe as “pre-indictment material from an unfinished personal documentary,” calling the move unethical and potentially unlawful. The team also criticized the editing of the series, alleging that clips were arranged in a way that presents Combs “in the most damaging and misleading light possible.”

Adding fuel to the fire is 50 Cent’s involvement as a producer. The rapper and media executive has had a long and very public feud with Diddy, making his role in the project especially controversial. A representative for Diddy described the decision to involve 50 Cent as “a deeply personal slap in the face,” suggesting that Netflix prioritized shock value over fairness and balance.

Beyond reputation concerns, Diddy’s camp says the documentary raises serious legal questions about ownership and consent, stressing that the footage used was never intended for a third-party exposé.

How the Kazez’s Songwriting and Production Shaped Afro-Fusion in 2025

Lagos, Nigeria – December 26, 2025 –  As the year wraps up, The Kazez, Lagos-built twin duo Taiwo and Kehinde Kassim, are being rediscovered not just as artists, but as architects of some of the most resonant Afrobeat and Afro-fusion records fans returned to all year. From chart-shaping collaborations to their own releases, The Kazez’ sound has quietly lived across playlists, albums, and repeat listens.

At the centre of this rediscovery is their acclaimed work as producers and songwriters on Adekunle Gold’s “Many People,” a record widely praised for its honesty, cultural depth, and emotional restraint. The song has become a reference point for intentional Afro-fusion, music that speaks softly but carries weight.

Beyond “Many People,” The Kazez’ creative imprint spans a wide range of fan-loved records across the industry. Their songwriting and production credits include works on:

“Arike” (Kunmie), “10%” (Tiwa Savage), “Lailo” (Adekunle Gold), “INT0XYCATED” (Oxlade & Dave), “DND” (Rema), “RMF” (Oxlade), “On My Mind (OMM)” (Oxlade, Tomi Owó & Ojahbee), “My Energy” (Mayorkun), “Alarm” (Mayorkun), “Lockdown” (L.A.X), “Won Wa Mi” (The Kazez), and “She Bad” (Sarkodie feat. Oxlade), records that fans repeatedly streamed, shared, and rediscovered throughout the year.

As recording artists, listeners also revisited The Kazez’s own catalogue, including standout songs such as “Go Harder,” “Lonely Road,” “Teleport,” “Jericho,” “Coming Home,” “Rihanna,” “Nor Do,” “Won Wa Mi,” and “Popo.” These records reinforce the duo’s identity as artists who sing, write, and produce, building a sound rooted in Lagos street reality but delivered with polish and restraint.

Rediscovery matters to us because it means the music lived beyond the release day,” says Taiwo Kassim. “If people come back months later and still feel something, then the sound did its job.

This year-long engagement is reflected in their growing listenership, with over 118,000 Spotify monthly listeners, driven by organic fan behaviour rather than trend-based spikes. Listeners consistently return to The Kazez’s music for its emotional grounding, layered instrumentation, and clarity of message.

Lagos shapes you with patience and resilience, and that mindset carries into everything we create. We’re intentional about how our music ages, because our sound is meant to last, not be rushed,” Kehinde Kassim says.

The Kazez’s body of work has also earned recognition from respected media platforms including Culture Custodian, TurnTable Charts, NotJustOk, TXT Magazine, Val9ja, Dop Exclusive, and Hyperexclusive, further affirming their influence across both creative and critical spaces.

Rediscover The Kazez,  The Sound is more than a year-end reflection, it is a reminder of how deeply their music has travelled. Through songwriting, production, and performance, the Lagos-bred twins continue to shape Afro-fusion from the inside out, building a catalogue that fans don’t just hear once, but return to again and again.

As the new year approaches, rising alternative Afrobeat artist OKITHEWIZARD is set to usher in 2026 with the release of his forthcoming 6-track project, ALTÉ, scheduled to arrive on January 1. More than a debut into the year, the project stands as a bold artistic declaration; one that champions individuality, cultural fusion, and the freedom to exist outside convention.

Born in Ozubulu, Anambra State (Nigeria) and raised between Aarhus, Denmark and Florida, USA, with his creative roots grounded in Los Angeles, OKITHEWIZARD’s sound reflects a life lived across continents. His musical journey began early: playing guitar with his cousin in Denmark, joining a school band in Florida, and singing in a church choir in Alakuko, Lagos. These formative experiences shaped a deep musical curiosity that would later define his genre-defying approach.

Before stepping fully into artistry, OKITHEWIZARD carved out a name as an underground DJ in Los Angeles, immersing himself in diverse sound cultures. His evolution continued at the LA Film School, where he refined his production skills and began developing a sound that merges alternative Afrobeat with Afro-punk energy, hip-hop grit, and pop sensibility. Today, he stands as an artist committed to pushing sonic boundaries while celebrating the magic of being different.

Bayeux Tapestry: Priceless artefact to be insured for £800m | UK News

The Bayeux Tapestry will be insured for around £800m when it comes to the UK next year.

The Treasury will back the cover for the priceless artefact under the Government Indemnity Scheme – an alternative to commercial insurance that allows art and cultural objects to be shown in the UK.

Indirectly backed by the British taxpayer, the indemnity will cover it for damage or loss during its transfer from France and while it is on display.

The 70m fabric depiction of the 1066 Norman invasion and Battle of Hastings is not far off 1,000 years old.

It depicts the battle which saw William the Conqueror take the English throne from Harold Godwinson and become the first Norman king of England.

It’s understood the tapestry will be displayed behind a protective screen while on show. In Normandy, it’s been displayed behind a bespoke glass case.

The Financial Times reported the Treasury had provisionally approved an estimated valuation of around £800m for the tapestry.

Most recently housed at the Bayeux Tapestry Museum in Normandy, it will be loaned to the British Museum next year while the French museum closes for renovation.

Its reopening is scheduled for October 2027.

An HM Treasury spokesperson said: “The Government Indemnity Scheme is a long-standing scheme that allows museums and galleries to borrow high-value works for major exhibitions, increasing visitor numbers and providing public benefits.

“Without this cover, public museums and galleries would face a substantial commercial insurance premium, which would be significantly less cost-effective.”

The scheme is estimated to have saved UK museums and galleries £81m compared to commercial insurance.

It is part of a cultural exchange that will see the British Museum loan the Sutton Hoo collection, the Lewis Chessmen and other items to France in return for the tapestry.

Former chancellor and chair of the British Museum George Osborne has said he expects the tapestry exhibition to be “the blockbuster show of our generation”.

Meanwhile, in France, dissenting voices from the art and conservation fields have called on President Emmanuel Macron to abandon the project over concerns transportation would cause irreparable damage to the tapestry.

A detailed agreement between the British and French ministries sets out transfer plans, which include the use of a special crate and a test run with a facsimile of the tapestry ahead of transporting the real thing.

The UK has seen a spate of activist attacks on works of art and artefacts in recent years.

Incidents include protesters glueing themselves to the frame of John Constable’s The Hay Wain at the National Gallery in 2022, and tomato soup being thrown at Vincent van Gogh’s Sunflowers at the National Gallery in 2022 and again in 2024.

Earlier this month, crumble and custard was thrown at the State Crown display case in the Tower of London.

The Bayeux Tapestry will be on show at the British Museum from September 2026 to July 2027.

Actress Doris Ogala Rejects Alleged ,000 Settlement From Pastor Chris Okafor (Video)

Renowned Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has turned down the $10,000 settlement offered by Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.

The actress made this known in a video made on Tuesday December 23 2025, and shared on her Instagram page Saturday morning.

Speaking in the video, Ogala stated that the clergy man brought the money as settlement and also begged her to publicly debunk everything she had said about him.

While revealing the outcome of their table talks, she alleged that pastor Chris urged her to lie that she was sent by some pastors to lie against him.

“Chris, you’ve seen me finish ooo, honestly, you have seen me finish. This is $10,000, he gave me this $5,000 last night after we talked and he was pleading and all that. Then he gave me this $5,000 this afternoon.

“This man is just mad. You can imagine this man wanted me to come and say that all the pastors or a few pastors were the ones who sent me to come and fight him. I should put it on the pastors’ head, then I will come out and debunk everything that I have said. Come on, you want me to take a fool? After all that I have said?

“Chris, you see this money that you gave me, it will never be a transaction of anything in my life or transaction of any part of my body. I cancelled every evil altar that you are coming from. He that is in me and protecting me is greater. I deliberately collected this money to tell you that everything i have said is the truth. I’m not lying and I will never lie. Chris, I’m not as cheap as you are, ten thousand dollars is nothing to me, and I’m not blackmailing you but I wanted the world to see that you actually gave me money. Chris, I will not lie on any pastor or put it on any pastor’s head. So, this is the money he gave to me with the Zenith bank envelope just now. Today is 23 December 2025, and I’m making this video by 5;39 pm”, she stated.

The development came a few days after Doris Ogala disclosed that table talks and resolution is ongoing between them.

Recall that Doris called Chris Okafor out after he dumped her for another woman despite promising her marriage.
