A self-acclaimed prophet has sparked widespread reactions on social media after making a startling prophecy about Nigerian fintech giant, OPay.
In a viral video, the prophet claimed that OPay one of Nigeria’s most popular mobile money and payment service platforms is “about to close down.” He further alleged that the company is linked to a “r!tŭāl” and warned that Nigerians may soon wake up to discover that all the money in their OPay accounts has disappeared.
“Opay is about to close down. Opay is a r!tŭāl. Everybody will wake one day to find their money in their Opay account gone. It’s going to happen between December to January next year,” the prophet declared.
